How to Embed YouTube Videos in WordPress

Are you producing your own videos for publication or want to embed other people’s video?

Interestingly, placing a video file in a blog post is a good practice and has never been easier with WordPress.

To add your video, follow the steps:

1.Log into your account and click the Add New link from the Posts menu as shown.

Give a suitable title to your new content and begin writing what you want.

2. The next step is to go to the YouTube site to find the video you want. Once you’re on the YouTube page, click the ‘Share’ button below the video as shown.

On clicking it, a share link will be opened.

3. Now, click the ‘Embed’ button next to the link they show you and an iframe will be shown.

4. Copy the ‘iframe’ code given and paste it into the HTML of your web page by bringing your cursor to the position you want to embed.

Remember that you’re also shown the ‘Visual Mode’ and the ‘Text Mode’ in the beginning part of this tutorial. Your iframe code should be pasted in the text mode. If not, your video will not be displayed.

Note also that you may uncheck some boxes that aren’t necessary which are shown on the iframe like Player Control or Copyrights.

Now, switch back to the Visual Mode and adjust the position of your video. By default, your image is usually positioned on the left side.

You may click the middle symbol to bring it to the center position. Look at the image position below:

Wola, you should now be very happy to find your video embedded on your blog post.

Go ahead and embed relevant YouTube or your own videos to every content that you post.

Supplement: Embed two more ways by watching this YouTube video for your blog posts and thank me later.
